So I've had Omnisphere for a while (highly recommended to anyone), but I've hit a roadblock when trying to record performances with 'Live Mode' turned on.

The problem I am having arises when I try to record to playlist with LIVE MODE turned on. When LIVE MODE is active MIDI channel assignments (seen in the Mixer tab of Omnisphere) are overridden by LIVE MODE selections. The problem is, when I hit record in FL Studio the DAW will record my MIDI inputs OK, but not the corresponding patch changes, solos, mutes, and latches. What I end up hearing in the recording is the MIDI data to the tune of whatever patch I have just selected in Omnisphere during playback.
So the pattern that ends up dumping to my playlist is not a true reflection of what I played in LIVE MODE, because it does not separate the colors in the Piano Roll as I played it during the LIVE MODE-- it ends up all as one color. I suspect this is due to the whole 'overriding MIDI channel assignments' that happens when LIVE MODE is turned on. I hope there is a way around this, because I would LOVE to actual record to FL Studio what I do exactly in LIVE MODE and have it playback the same way.
I must be missing something important that I have not been able to find on these forums. Has anyone figured out a solution to this for using any multi-timbral with 'live mode' performance like Omnisphere?
Until I figure this out, I've settled on recording Omnisphere patch by patch, like I would with a live studio band. (I.e. Start with drums, bass, then acoustic guitar, vocals, etc, all separately then pieced together and mixed.). But I feel I am not using Omnisphere to its full potential until I can start harnessing the power of LIVE MODE recording in FL Studio.
P.S. Please don't recommend other DAWs or programs as a solution. I intend to use FL Studio to figure this out, so please don't turn this into a DAW war like I've seen it done on other threads of this nature. You've been warned by the OP.
